Three generations of home baked goodness.

Three generations of home baked goodness.

My Mother Mary Ann Sagarbarria started selling Silvanas to friends and acquaintances in Manila in 1978. My grandmother Trining Teves-Sagarbarria who owned Sans Rival Cakes and Pastries a popular bakeshop in Dumaguete City, Shared her recipes with my mother before my parents relocated to Manila.

Through word of mouth, the "House of Silvanas" in San Lorenzo Village continued to grow even as it remained home based until 1995, when it opened its first outlet in Metro Manila.

In 2005 my wife Crissy Cantada-Sagarbarria and I opened House of Silvanas in Daly City, California -- Just 15 minutes south from San Francisco. Continuing the legacy of home baked goodness. We are a small hidden bakeshop in the City Heights complex known for our friendly personalized service.
